Under the leadership of the European University Sports Association (EUSA), European student championships are held regularly. In odd-numbered years, approximately 20 European University Championships (EUCs) are organised in various European countries, while in even-numbered years, the European University Games (EUGs) are on the programme, with each edition hosted in a new country.

To participate in these international championships, you must have won the Dutch Student Championship in the relevant sport in the year prior to the EUC or EUG.
