Under supervision of the European University Sport Association, about twenty European University Championships are usually organized in odd years and the European University Games are organized in even years. In the student sports world,
these championships are also abbreviated to EUCs and EUGs.
As a student, you are generally eligible to participate in these championships if you have won the Dutch Student Championship in the relevant branch of sport in the year prior to the EUC or EUG.
The SSN International committee is responsible for the provision of information and registrations regarding these EUCs and EUGs. The current committee is formed by Luuk Minnaar and Jerry van Sluis. Both have already been active as board
members in the student sports world in the years before. Luuk was the sports commissioner of the Student Sports Council in Utrecht in the year 2018-2019 and Jerry was the Sports Commissioner of Student Sports the Netherlands in the year
2019-2020.

Because Corona is still influencing the sports world and events heavily, unfortunately we can only inform you at the moment that the European University Games that were scheduled in Belgrade from 14 to 27 July will not take place in July 2021 and that new data will be looked at later this year.
